Duplicate & Offset is a new After Effects Script to speed up your motion graphics workflow. The functions are simple but useful.

Duplicate: Type in the number of copies you want and click Duplicate to generate the copies of your selected layer.

Offset: Type in the number of frames you want to offset the selected layers by and click Offset.

Randomize Transform: With multiple layers selected, click either Position, Rotation or Scale to randomly change the values for each of the selected layers. Click any of the buttons multiple times for different results.

Example: Create a simple animated stroke around a circle path. Duplicate it 9 times to have 10 layers total. Offset them by 2 frames to adjust the start time of each layer. Click position and scale to randomize their placement and size in the comp. Done! Playback the timeline to see your animation and make minor adjustments as needed.

This is a huge time saver!
